How every service begins
Before we open any case, we assess the watch and note what we find. This assessment is shared with you — describing the movement's condition, the state of any seals, and the cosmetic situation. Only after your approval does the work begin.
The service tier you select determines the scope of the work. If we open a watch and find it needs more than the selected tier covers, we pause and contact you. The cost of any additional work is agreed before we proceed.

Quartz Service & Battery Care

Attentive care for quartz watches, including a fresh battery, gasket inspection, contact cleaning, and a light case wipe. We test the circuit and water resistance where the design allows, and advise gently if any seal needs replacing. A good choice for daily-wear watches that have slowed or stopped; most pieces are ready within a few days.

Automatic Regulation & Refresh

A mid-level service for automatic watches running fast, slow, or unevenly. We open the movement, clean and re-lubricate the key points, then regulate across several positions for more consistent timekeeping. Worn gaskets are renewed and the crown action checked. Suited to watches worn often that simply need attention; typically two to three weeks.

Heritage Restoration Programme

A patient, full restoration for older or cherished watches. The movement receives a complete overhaul, the case and bracelet are carefully cleaned and refinished, and we discuss every cosmetic decision with you beforehand to respect the watch's history. Photographs accompany each stage. Reserved for pieces of personal meaning; allow five to seven weeks.

Workshop Standards
Shared across all three services
Secure storage while in care
Every watch is kept in a locked cabinet when not on the workbench. Postal pieces travel with insurance arranged in advance.
Correct lubricants for each calibre
We use lubricants specified for each movement type. Correct storage and application is part of how they perform.
Written record for every piece
Each watch has its own file: intake notes, assessment, agreed scope, and collection record. You receive a copy.
Timing machine for mechanical work
Automatic and restoration pieces are measured across positions before reassembly. Results are shared with the owner.
Water resistance checked on applicable pieces
Gasket replacement is followed by a resistance test where the case allows it. We note the result in the collection record.
Nothing unilateral
Any change in scope, cost, or cosmetic approach is communicated to you first. Work pauses until you confirm.
